Buildings turn out goods that pile up in your warehouse. Sell them at market for guilders, reinvest, and watch every line compound. Milestones double your output as you grow.

SPECULATE
De Beurs van Amsterdam, the world's first stock exchange. Read the tulip frenzy, the spice winds and the coffee trade, hold your nerve through the boom, and sell before the crash takes it back.
iii.
ASCEND
Liquidate for reputation, charter the VOC to open Era II. The beta lets you experience the first two layers of prestige, from canal stall to chartered company.
